Shea butter is a village-level product before it is an industrial one. The nuts are collected and processed by women's cooperatives across West Africa, and the quality of what reaches your factory is decided long before it reaches a container.
We maintain strong sourcing partnerships with those cooperatives rather than buying whatever is available on the open market. That relationship is what makes consistent, specification-driven supply possible — and it is what keeps the material traceable.
